For optimal performance, replace the quartz sleeve in your 10w Pondmaster Submersible Ultraviolet (UV) Clarifier when you are unable to clean it completely. A dirty sleeve will block UV light and reduce your clarifier's effective light spectrum. Keep a spare handy and exchange it with a dirty one which can be cleaned later at your convenience. 8.75"L
